HOW DO I ACCESS MY ACCOUNT?

You can access your library account by going to Library Catalog: NC-PALS and choosing the My Account link at the top of the NC-PALS screen.

Note: You may wish to print this instruction page before you go the My Account login page.

You will be prompted for your UserID and Password. (Ignore the Alternate ID blank.)

Your UserID is as follows:

• The first five digits of your UserID are 22930.
• Your Pride CardID number represents the last four, five, or six digits of your UserID (depending on the length of your Pride Card ID number).
• Because your UserID must be 13 numbers in length, you must add enough "0"s (zeros) in between those two numbers to equal thirteen.

229300000XXXX (If your Pride Card ID is 4 digits long, you must add four "0"s between the two numbers.)
22930000XXXXX (If your Pride Card ID is 5 digits long, you must add three "0"s between the two numbers.) 2293000XXXXXX (If your Pride Card ID is 6 digits long, you must add two "0"s between the two numbers.)

Password = changeme or 1111 (If one doesn't work, please try the other.)

Once you have accessed your account, it is recommended that you use the Change Password feature.

YOUR ACCOUNT

Your account will include a list of all items checked out to your account, a list of any materials you have requested via the Library Catalog: NC-PALS system (Interlibrary loan requests will not be shown here.), and a list of any library bills/fines you have outstanding.

To renew a book, place a check in the box by the appropriate item and click on the Renew Selected Items button. You may not renew overdue items online. You must bring these items to the J.A. Jones Library circulation desk and pay any overdue fines before the checkout of said items can be renewed.
